From a very young age, most of these producers were engaged in different agricultural activities where in several cases the livelihood was the cultivation of coffee, some due to family tradition and in others because it was the item that provided the most employment at that time in the department of Huila.

Between the years 1992-1995, several of these young people allowed themselves to be "enlisted", they say... because of the issue of weapons, rebellion and power (easy money), thus enlisting in the ranks of the FARC guerrilla, participating in different activities, both illegal and others that according to them were carried out for the benefit of the community. As a result of this record, we will present the case of one of our producers from the peace project in Cata Export who was captured in 1998, he assures that he was accused of a crime that he did not commit, even so he remained in jail for 19 years... "the Prison is a school, if you want to follow bad steps there you can do it, but if you want to follow a good path ironically you can also do it, it depends on you" says the one who decided to change his path to show that he was innocent and that he could really contribute very good things to society, his ICFES exam where he obtained a very good grade, he studied bakery and took several courses with the motivation that when he was free he would have more job opportunities.

When he was released, he appeared in the SENA entrepreneurship fund where he was favored with a good sum of money that allowed him to invest in the farm that his father inherited, thus beginning with the planting of 22,000 coffee sticks, thus betting on a new opportunity. Very similar were the life stories of the other producers, some with more luck than others, however, they had a lot of support to amend these errors by correcting the path they had chosen in the past.

Today they all have their own coffee farms planted with different varieties, which go through their due process, which has been acquired in the same way in each of the farms, thus ensuring that everyone worked towards the same path, they are still training, receiving aid from the government and achieving reintegration into society in a dignified manner.

This Blend is created exclusively by Cata Export, we make our own shelling design, this is really very important and exclusive since in Colombia the producers do not usually do it and much is unknown about this subject. We have pixel selection, density selection, screen selection and manual selection equipment, which reduces the waste of high-quality coffee and also guarantees to offer a unique product to our customers in Europe.

In this way, a very characteristic Blend is obtained, in their respective farms, each one has different varieties and different steps. of processing, this allows Huila, being an area rich in diversity, to also provide all the qualities to create an excellent quality grain.
